Dear Gregory Chorus Families,
The next several weeks are an exciting and busy time in the Gregory
Chorus world! Here is our upcoming schedule through the end of March:
Wednesday, February 13 - Mixed Ensemble rehearsal,
3:10-4:00pm.
Thursday, February 14 - Men's Ensemble rehearsal,
6:55-7:45am.Friday, February 15 - Concert Choir rehearsal, 6:55-7:45am.
Wednesday, February 20 - Men's Ensemble rehearsal,
3:10-4:00pm.
Thursday, February 21 - Mixed Ensemble rehearsal,
6:55-7:45am.Friday, February 22 - Concert Choir rehearsal, 6:55-7:45am.
Saturday, February 23 - Solo/Ensemble Festival at Crone Middle School; times have been distributed to students who are participating; please make sure to make your accompanist payment by Friday, February 15. Parents, if you would like to lend some volunteer assistance for the day, and have not already submitted your contact information online, please visit:
Monday, February 25 - Concert Choir rehearsal, 6:55-7:45am; and Men's Ensemble rehearsal, 3:10-4:00pm.
Tuesday, February 26 - Mixed Ensemble rehearsal, 6:55-7:45am.
Wednesday, February 27 - WINTER CHORAL CONCERTS:
6:30pm - 6th Grade Chorus, Men's Ensemble, Mixed Ensemble, and Concert Choir. Report time is 5:30pm in the West Gym.
8:00pm - 7th Grade Chorus, 8th Grade Chorus, Men's Ensemble, Mixed Ensemble, and Concert Choir. Report time is 7:15pm in the West Gym.
Parents, we could use your help again! If you would like to volunteer for pre-concert warmup supervision assistance, please let me know if you would like to help and for which report time.
Concert attire is the gray "Gregory Music" polo shirt and black full-length pants/shoes/socks. Please no capris, skirts, etc.
Thursday, February 28 - Concert Choir rehearsal, 3:10-4:00pm (added rehearsal in order to prepare for the district choral festival on Saturday).
Saturday, March 2 - District Choral Festival, 8:15am-12:30pm, Fischer Middle School. Concert Choir will be performing; an informational form was distributed at rehearsal - please return the completed and signed form by Friday, February 15.
(There will be NO Concert
Choir, Men's Ensemble, or Mixed Ensemble rehearsals the weeks of March 4-8 and
March 11-15.)
Monday, March 4 - Spring Musical auditions for
students with last names A-L, 3:05-5:30pm. Informational packets can be picked
up in the main office, and permission slips with completed conflict
information need to be turned in to Mr. Pfenninger or Mrs. Battle prior to
or at the student's audition. Students will not be permitted to audition
without a completed and signed form.
Tuesday, March 5 - Spring Musical auditions for

Tuesday, March 19 - "Wizard of Oz" cast
rehearsal, 3:10-4:30pm.Wednesday, March 20 - "Wizard of Oz" cast rehearsal, 3:10-4:30pm.
Thursday, March 21 - Mixed Ensemble rehearsal, 6:55-7:45am; "Wizard of Oz" cast rehearsal, 3:10-4:00pm.
Friday, March 22 - NO rehearsals.
Concert Choir will rehearse on Monday, April 1,
6:55-7:45am. A detailed April/May calendar for Concert Choir/Men's
Ensemble/Mixed Ensemble will be distributed at a later date.
